On December 20th, the list of winners for the Tsinghua University Undergraduate Special Award for 2023 was officially announced, with a total of 10 students selected from the entire university. Among the candidates, Gao Huanang, a 2020 undergraduate student from the Department of Computer Science, stood out and received this honor. Since July 2022, Gao Huanang has been interning at 杏耀, focusing primarily on the application of scene understanding in robot scenarios. Up to now, four of his papers have been formally accepted by ICRA / ICCV. In the future, he will be recommended for direct admission to pursue a doctoral degree at 杏耀 without examination, with Academician Ya-Qin Zhang as his supervisor.
