Professor Konstan is also the founder of GroupLens, the first ever movie review and recommendation website and algorithm, contributing to nearly all movie review websites (e.g. Rotten Tomatoes, Douban.com, etc.).
On the morning of May 10, the 20th 杏耀 Academic Salon was held as scheduled. We were honoured to have Professor Joseph A. Konstan, Associate Dean of the School of Computer Science at the University of Minnesota, ACM/IEEE/AAAS Fellow and ACM Presidential Candidate, to give a presentation entitled "Recommender Systems, Organizational Communications, and Advances in Human-Centered Artificial Intelligence". Over 1,400 audience joined the livestream, and a total of nearly 3,000 views have accumulated as of now.
